About
BRITNI IS THE FOUNDER OF GIELOW GOLF.
A former Academic All-American at NCAA Division III Hope College.
Britni is an LPGA Class A Teaching Professional with Patti Butcher Golf Enterprises and owner of Gielow Golf, LLC.
A former Academic All-American at NCAA Division III Hope College, Britni helped the Flying Dutch women’s golf team qualify for the DIII National Championship for the first time in school history in 2015. The following season, she set the all-time single-round lowest-score mark in tournament play with a 71 at Nationals, where she finished 7th.
Her success at the collegiate level followed an outstanding junior career. She was a three-time All-State selection for Division II Girls Golf and was a member of the Mona Shores Girls Golf Team that won four consecutive state championships from 2009 through 2012. While playing competitive golf, Britni made frequent trips to visit Patti Butcher to work on the mechanics of her swing and improve her mental approach to the game. It was during these lessons that Britni developed an interest in teaching golf, which led her to become the lead instructor at Spring Lake Country Club in their junior golf program for four years.
While at Spring Lake CC, Britni taught boys and girls of all ages during the club’s summer golf programs. She fell in love with teaching the game to kids, and continues to work with juniors, helping them improve while having fun in the process. Britni was also a past Board Member for The First Tee of Muskegon, and has taught at several junior golf clinics and volunteered her time in the front office in Grand Rapids, MI.
Britni is a Certified Cardiogolf Instructor. Created by Karen Palacios- Jansen, Cardiogolf is a golf fitness program designed to teach the mechanics of the golf swing without hitting a ball.
When she’s not golfing herself, she is spending time with her friends and family, which includes brother Brendan. He was an All-American at Wake Forest University and played on the 2009 U.S. Walker Cup Team along with Rickie Fowler. Her love for the game started while caddying for Brendan enroute to his victory at the Porter Cup, a major amateur championship.
“I strive to be an instructor that inspires my students to be the best they can be on and off the golf course through golf instruction and golf fitness. ”
